Polyvinyl chloride for paste processing
VESTOLIT P 1415 K80 Ultra is a paste-forming micro S-PVC homopolymer which is suitable for producing low viscosity pastes with almost Newtonian flow.
The properties of P 1415 K80 Ultra, make it particularly suitable for compact pastes and for mechanical foams.
VESTOLIT P 1415 K80 Ultra has excellent drum release. The high K-value and the resulting low surface gloss are desired properties for smooth coatings in top coats. Its rheological properties enable P 1415 K80 Ultra to be a preferred product for uses including priming and embedding of glass-fibre mats. High processing speeds can also be achieved during the production of mechanically blown foams with both soap-based and silicon-based foam stabilzers.
